Scott is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had a poor experience with another broker and came to Scott for a refi. He answered right away and gave me excellent information. My original broker contacted me with an offer to eat costs due to his negligence, and Scott was willing to give me his honest opinion about taking the offer despite it costing him a closing. He is good at his job and has a lot of integrity and he's my guy the next time I need a loan.

As a realtor with over 16 years of experience, I KNOW how critical it is for my buyers to work with a lender who knows how to solve problems. Scott Lawson is just that man! I had a VA buyer in contract on a home and it quickly became apparent that the original lender hadn't done their homework (and had very little experience.) The result was that my buyers deposit was at risk one week into the transaction.

And then we found Scott Lawson. To say he saved the day is an understatement. The loan my buyer was trying to obtain was unlike anything I'd ever seen. No money down on a purchase over $1.2M? Unheard of! Not only did Scott have a resource for this loan, but he stepped into the transaction nearly 10 days into our escrow period and closed the transaction with skill and expertise. Scott saved my client from losing his deposit AND we both have a happy client in his new home. Nicely done Scott!

We came into Scott's office three years ago. At that time we did not qualify for a loan. He was encouraging and positive. He gave us sound advise which we followed and I am grateful for because the next time we walked into his office we were approved. Buying a house can be stressful. Scott was honest, totally on top of it, always available and efficient. When we had questions he answered them. When people weren't doing their job he called them. He always called us right back. Fantastic service and professional.

Have been working with Scott Lawson there for over 15 years, lots of specialized products for everyone from VA to FHA and awesome rates on qualified convention loans. At this point I have worked with Scott Lawson for three loans. One purchase (which he was a total rock star and helped us through all of the craziness of purchasing our first home) as well as two re-finances of said home. Scott is amazing and dedicated to his clients. I always feel like he is on my side and will tell me like it is (something very important when you are talking about money!). I refer absolutely everyone to him--especially if they are not sure that they can afford a home. Why?

Because he will tell them the truth and give them options without bias or "how will this benefit me" thinking. I have rarely worked with someone who is so on top of things with excellent ability to keep track of everything that is going on. Home financing is SCARY and it can be super overwhelming but Scott is great about breaking things down, telling you what's going on (and WHY), and timelines. I truly appreciate working with Scott and will continue to send business his way. A++++!
